Mini Deep Dish Pizzas

What I love about these pizzas is that you can customize them however you want. It would be a really good idea to make for a group of people, and everyone could decide what they want. I was also thinking of using pesto next time instead of pizza sauce

  • Pizza dough (store bought, or make two ingredient pizza dough! Recipe here)
  • 10 oz. pizza sauce
  • 8 oz. fresh mozzarella, cut into 24 slices
  • 1/2 c. parmesan cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • Any pizza toppings you want
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Spray muffin tin with cooking spray
  3. Stretch out slices of your dough and press into the muffin cups
  4. Bake for about 10 minutes (I didn't do this the first time around and the dough was super doughy when everything else was ready)
  5. Put a small piece of mozzarella in the bottom of each pizza
  6. Top with a tablespoon of pizza sauce, more mozzarella, any toppings you want (we used green pepper), parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and cheese has melted
