Cookie in a Cup

This was one of the greatest things I have ever eaten. It was a mix between cookie dough and a cookie. Hot, soft, chocolatey, delicious. Next time, I would top with some vanilla ice cream and whip cream. (This title keeps making me think about Wall- E... "septuacentennial cupcake in a cup!")

Ingredients:
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 drops of vanilla extract (it came out really fast so be careful!)
  • Small pinch of Kosher salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Heaping 1/3 c. flour
  • 2 tbsp. semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
  1. Melt the butter in the microwave (this won't take long as it's only 1 tablespoon)
  2. Add sugar, vanilla, and salt. Stir and combine
  3. Separate the yolk from your egg. Most people transfer the yolk from egg shell to egg shell, but I learned in a cooking class it's easier to use your hands. Stir in
  4. Add flour and stir
  5. Add chocolate chips and stir
  6. Cook in the microwave for 40-60 seconds. Mine took the full 60 seconds, but make sure it's not too long
Enjoy!
