Beer Boiled Pork Brat, Green Pepper, and Onion Skewers

My Dad and I try to go to at least one Cubs game per season. This year, we got tickets to a May game. We were having such a great time drinking with Andrew and hanging out with Andrew that we didn't even end up going. We got this meat from Paulina Meat Market (where we got the meat for the Blue Cheese Stuffed Burgers and Steak Fajitas) and grilled out in the back.

Ingredients:
  • 4 pork brats
  • Three green peppers
  • One large onion
  • Three beers (I used Bud)
  • Skewers
Directions:
  1. Pour beer into pot, add brats, and turn heat on high
  2. Once beer starts boiling, time 8 minutes
  3. Meanwhile, clean and slice up peppers and onion into hearty chunks
  4. Drain brats, and cut up into chunks
  5. Add brat, pepper, and onion onto skewer
  6. Place skewers on grill and cook for about 10 minutes, making sure to rotate skewer

Riggins being a huge help as always :)

Enjoy!

Kelsey
