Crostini with Brie and Honey

This is from the week of bread, cheese, and condiments in our household (see Crostini with Brie and Jelly). My friends Ashley and Matt (the couple mentioned in the Brown Butter Salted Caramel Snickerdoodles) introduced me to the wonderful combination of honey and brie. Whenever they have people over they always have this, and so I decided to give them a nice cheese plate and knife for their wedding. Anyway, it is such a heavenly combination. While this may not be a whole meal for you, perhaps this would work as a yummy premade appetizer!

Ingredients:
  • French bread, sliced
  • Brie cheese
  • 2 tbsp. honey
Directions:
  1. Place brie on bread and cover with honey
You could heat the bread (for a real "crostini") so the brie would melt a little, but I actually like it cold.

Enjoy!

Kelsey
