Candied Bacon

Candied. Bacon. Let those two words and that combination sink in for a minute. I am someone who loves thick, very crisp bacon, and this is amazing. Make this right now. Used in Candied Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies.

  • 1 pound bacon (about 16 slices)
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Line two baking sheets with aluminum foil
  3. Place bacon on aluminum foil
  4. Top with brown sugar

  5. Put in oven
  6. After 10 minutes, flip bacon over
  7. Cook about 14 more minutes
  8. Cool on cooling rack
One of the best parts? Clean up is easy! Roll up the foil and you're done! Or save the bacon drippings for Bacon Grilled Cheese
