Homemade Garlic Bread is a staple n our house. My husband absolutely loves it, and he absolutely loves Italian seasoning, so I thought I would put the two together. All night he was raving about it. Will definitely do this the next time we make garlic bread!
Ingredients:
- French bread
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 tbsp. minced garlic
- 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
- Set oven to 350 degrees
- Cut French bread into sizes you want the sandwiches to be
- Cut bread again until it's cut in half (for sandwiches, cut until the bread is almost cut in half, but not all the way so that there is still a binding between both loaves)
- Heat skillet over medium heat
- Melt butter and then add garlic
- After about three minutes, stick bread in garlic and butter mixture face side down
- Place garlic bread on baking sheet, garlic and butter side up
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top
- Pour over any leftover butter
- Bake until bread starts to crisp. Be careful as the bread can burn very quickly!
