Peanut Butter and Hershey Kiss Cookies

Peanut butter cookies with a Hershey kiss in the middle have always been my favorite. I always eat around the Hershey kiss so the last bite is full of peanut butter and chocolate. Clearly I've put a lot of thought into this :) These are a twist on the classic, as they include a box of yellow food cake, which makes the cookies super fluffy. Big success!

Ingredients:
  • Box of yellow cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • Hershey kisses
Directions:
  1. Set oven to 350 degrees
  2. Fully mix all ingredients
  3. Place on Silpat or greased baking sheet
  4. Bake for 10 minutes
  5. Meanwhile, unwrap Hershey kisses
  6. Immediately after taking out cookies, press kiss into the middle of each cookie (the cookie will crack and crinkle)
  7. Transfer cookies (carefully!) to a cooling rack and completely cool
To have a little fun, I added in red and green M&Ms and peppermint sticks as ears to make little reindeer. These sort of look like aliens (I think mainly because of the green eyes) but they were fun to make!

Enjoy!
